THE CENTER IN OUR INNER LIFE
THE CENTER IN OUR INNER LIFE (ENGLISH) "Not my Will, but Yours be done" (Luke 22:42) It is helpful to use legends, mythology, and studies in comparative religion to psychologically understand dream symbols and images portrayed in drawings and paintings. The previous quote can shed some light on the vital relationship between the ego and the Center of our interior life.Unfortunately we give greater emphasis to the ideas and opinions of our ego and neglect the deep imaginal messages (i.e., dreams, spontaneous images, etc) from the Self (which is the psychological name for that Center). However, if we assign greater value to the Self and if, during the day, we contemplate, ponder, and assiduously unfold dream images and visual products of our imagination, then the Center in our inner life will take precedence over our ego. In other words, like Luke stated: "Not my Will, but Yours be done." Then, if we make this Center and its images the primary focus of our daily and nightly thoughts, the psychological struggles will be healed and life will become an exciting, rich, and meaningful -although challenging- journey.

Es útil utilizar leyendas, mitología y estudios de religión comparada para comprender psicológicamente los símbolos de los sueños y las imágenes retratados en dibujos y pinturas.
La cita textual anterior puede arrojar algo de luz sobre la relación vital entre el ego y el centro de nuestra vida interior. Por desgracia, damos mayor énfasis a las ideas y opiniones de nuestro ego y descuidamos los profundos mensajes imaginarios (es decir, sueños, imágenes espontáneas, etc) desde el Self (que es el nombre psicológico del centro de nuestra vida interior) . Sin embargo, si asignamos un mayor valor al Self y si, durante el día, contemplamos y reflexionamos asiduamente acerca de las imágenes de los sueños y los productos visuales de nuestra imaginación, entonces el centro de nuestra vida interior tendrá prioridad sobre nuestro ego. En otras palabras, como dijo Luke: "No mi voluntad, pero la tuya sera hecha." Entonce, si hacemos de este Centro y sus imagenes el objetivo principal de nuestros pensamientos diurnos y nocturnos, los problemas psicologicos seran sanados y la vida se convertira en un viaje emocionante, lleno de tesoros, y significativo, aunque dificil.
