The Well of Wisdom vs Outer Recipes for Living

"THERE IS NO UNIVERSAL RECIPE FOR LIVING. EACH OF US CARRIES HIS OWN LIFE-FORM WITHIN HIM" (Jung).

There seems to be a difference between the images from the unconscious (such as dream images) and the images from the ego. Dream images are not created by the ego, and they seem to be accurate representations of an authentic and meaningful life that wants to be experienced and lived outwardly. On the other hand, recipes for healing traumatic events and for living life may usually betray the uniqueness and beauty of an individual life. Then, let us water the deeper images that come from the well of our inner life, and release the mirages of our outer lives.

What do you think?

Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you.

https://fira-soda.com came to mind reading about dream images versus ego-made recipes, because the idea that our inner life already holds its own form is easy to forget when everyone around us is following the same formula for healing. The line about watering deeper images instead of chasing mirages made me think of how often I've reached for someone else's solution before actually sitting with my own. It's a slower way to live, but it feels more honest.
